This
year the event in Evesham becomes the National MVT Show.
W
tym roku po raz pierwszy impreza w Evesham odbywała się
jako ogólnokrajowy zlot zrzeszenia Military Vehicle Trust.

After
setting up the camp on Friday night it was time for barbecue and
nice cold beer.
Po
rozbiciu namiotu – czas na grilla i zimne piwo.

|

morning.
Wczesny
poranek.

|
It
is quite unusual to have so many Eastern Block vehicles in one
place.
Niecodzienne
spotkanie kilku pojazdów z Europy Wschodniej na
angielskiej ziemi.

We
had two GAZ 69s, two UAZ 469s, a KrAZ and an Ural
motorbike.
Mieliśmy
dwa Gaz-y 69, dwa UAZ-y, KrAZ-a i Urala.

The
Russian duo in the muddy arena. With my road tyres I didn't have
a chance. Andrew was unstoppable.
Radziecki
duet na błotnistej arenie. Na moich szosowych oponach nie
miałem żadnych szans współzawodniczyć
z Andrzejem.

Soon
more and more Champs appeared in the arena.
Wkrótce

The
fight was unrelenting but they multiplied like rabbits. There
were too many of them!
Walczyliśmy
dzielnie ale one mnożyły się jak króliki!
Było ich za dużo.

We
couldn't stand against overwhelming enemy forces. We retreated to
the previously planned positions.
Wobec
przeważających sił wroga wycofaliśmy się
na z góry upatrzone pozycje.

The
Champ is celebrating it's 60th
anniversary this year.
Along with dozens of regular Champ
trucks we had the opportunity to see this rare, early (1949)
prototype called Wolseley FV 1801 Mudlark...
Austiny
Champ obchodzą w tym roku swoje 60 urodziny.
Z tej okazji
mieliśmy okazję podziwiać tuziny wojskowych
Champów jak i ten niezwykle rzadki prototyp Wolseley FV
1801 Mudlark z roku 1949...

it's famous predecessor Nuffield Gutty developed by the end of
WW2.
...i
jego słynnego poprzednika: Nuffield Gutty opracowany pod
koniec wojny.

Shame
this fantastic show was spoiled by bad weather. Some exhibitors
didn't turned up and the public seemed to be scared off by the
rain, strong wind and mud...
Szkoda
że trzeba wracać do domu...
