We arrived on Friday evening. After setting up our tent we admired the full moon with a nice cold beer.
Przyjechaliśmy na zlot w piątek wieczorem i po rozbiciu namiotu podziwialiśmy pełnię księżyca. |

The subject of our Saturday run was kept secret till 10 o'clock, when we were ready for depart. Bill was our guide on the tour.
Temat naszego sobotniego wyjazdu trzymany był w tajemnicy aż do rana, gdy pojazdy były gotowe do drogi. |

In
the summer of 1940 thousands of British soldiers, hundreds of
weapons and tanks were lost in the Battle of France. Britain was
left almost defenceless to the threat of German invasion.
Podczas
walk we Francji latem 1940 Wielka Brytania straciła tysiące
żołnierzy, setki czołgów i innego
wyposażenia. Prawie bezbronna wyspa stanęła w
obliczu zagrożenia niemieckiej inwazji. |

Conducting a convoy of nearly fifty old military vehicles wasn't an easy task. Thanks to superb planning and preparation we were moving smoothly from one place to another. Mobile biker patrols made sure nobody got lost.
Przeprowadzenie konwoju liczącego prawie pięćdziesiąt pojazdów nie było łatwym zadaniem, ale wszystko było starannine przygotowane i członkowie klubu na motocyklach zadbali by nikt się zgubił. |

Next stop was the Rose Revived pub on the river Thames. The bridge was a strategic crossing point over the natural boundary of the river. Most bridges were wired with explosives, ready to be blown up if necessary to prevent the enemy from advancing.
Następny przystanek. Mosty miały stanowić ważne punkty strategiczne w przypadku niemieckiej inwazji. Większość z nich została zaminowana i przygotowana do wysadzenia w powietrze w razie potrzeby. |

This picture shows a part of the Ironside's Defence Line which ran across the country in a zig-zag pattern for almost 450 miles supported by 1500 concrete pillboxes. This was primarily anti tank strategy.

Bill uncovered for us the history of the Auxiliary Home Guard training centre. Selected volunteers were trained there to become members of the British Resistance movement.

Underground Operational Base (OB) of the Auxiliary Unit which has been recently discovered. This picture shows the emergency exit that led through a small tunnel. It was originally completely covered and camouflaged.
